3 Tips from AAA for Your Car Battery!
We have been seeing an increase in battery replacements recently. It is most likely due to a combination of pandemic-caused isolation and the Houston summer heat. Here are three tips from AAA to keep your battery in tip-top shape:
Make sure your cables are tight
Make sure your terminals are clean
Drive your vehicle at least 30 minutes once a week
Given the times, some two-car families have only needed to use one car. Even if that is the case, it is extremely important not to neglect the other car. Vehicles are meant to be driven. Making an effort to use both cars will save you from various issues like starting problems. You can alternate which car you take out for errands to keep both cars on the road. My favorite way to make sure my cars are getting enough attention is by taking them out for a nice, scenic drive. For me, a nice, calming drive is exactly what I need after staring at a computer for hours.
