Road & Track Performance Car of the Year 2020
Today may be a Monday Professional Auto Care is closed, but you can't get us away from cars. In between doctor and dentist appointments, I finally had a chance to read and enjoy Road & Track January 2020. This whole edition was dedicated to crowning the Road & Track Performance Car of the Year. The crew started with eleven vehicles at Northern California's Thunderhill Raceway and then right off the bat eliminated seven vehicles. They drove the remainder six through from Sierra Nevada ending in Lake Tahoe beautifully describing each step of the journey. I could hear the engines roaring, see the tires burn out, and visualize those winding Cali roads.
Of course my personal favorite made it into the mix, the 2020 Lotus Evora GT. The standard mix of McLaren, 911, and BMW. Super excited to read about the Supra and intrigued to read about the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray with the mid engine, no manual option.
I won't ruin who won. It's worth the read. But let's says I am itching to drive the 2020 Hyundai Veloster N.
