Things I keep in my truck now
All our habits are being ripped apart as we all struggle together to find the new normal.
Here is what I normally had carried in my truck.
Tire pressure gauge
Mini air compressor
Autel mini code reader
Paper towels
First-Aid-Kit
Flashlight
Umbrella
This is what I have added:
Hand sanitizer
409
Plastic bags
Gloves
BG Frigi Fresh (this is actually in my work bag/purse)
Other habits I have broken/added/changed.
I use hand sanitizer every time I get in and out of the car. I have made it habit so now it's second nature to reach for it.
No eating in the car. (Yes, I was one of those people...) This means waking up an extra half hour to have coffee and my breakfast. At first this was hard. But now it has turned out to be really nice because my father and I talk each morning before I leave for work. Exchanging ideas and connecting.
409 (the one that kills 99.9% bacteria & viruses). I do not recommend this for everyone. Consult your owner's manual before applying anything on your interior, especially if preserving aesthetics is important to you. For me personally, my 2007 Ford Expedition can handle just about anything. I have not noticed any fading or questionable results. I use this to spray the handle that I use to reach into the vehicle and other common touch items.
The paper towels and disposable gloves need a place to be thrown out. I was the person who used to shove trash along the sides of the doors and wait until I'm at the gas station to empty, now everything goes into a plastic bag.
